Installing Desktop Commander
We haven't verified a copy-paste config for this one yet. Rather than print a command we aren't sure about, here are the maintainer's own instructions.
Install instructionsWhat it does
Gives an assistant control of your terminal and filesystem to run commands, manage processes, and edit code across a project.
Like any MCP server, Desktop Commander plugs into MCP-compatible assistants (such as Claude and other clients) so the model can use it as a tool , no custom integration code required.
