X's official hosted MCP server exposes read-only access to the platform — full-archive and user search, profile lookups, timelines, bookmarks, and trends — scoped to the caller's own account. It is hosted at api.x.com/mcp, so there is nothing to self-host, and it inherits X API pricing. Read-only; it cannot post.
